Process Engineer - Upstream Operations

Our client is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join their upstream operations team in East London. You will be involved in troubleshooting operational issues, implementing process improvements, and supporting plant modifications. • Monitor and analyze process performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and uptime.
• Develop scopes of work for minor modifications and capital projects related to process systems.

• Support the commissioning and start‑up of new or modified process equipment.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Familiarity with process simulation software and P&t.
• Understanding of process safety principles and hazardous area classifications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
