Host Transit Driver – Dollywood Theme Park – Seasonal

Host Transit Driver – Dollywood Theme Park – Seasonal with The Dollywood Company. Dollywood Parks & Resorts creates memories worth repeating across all properties in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.

Responsibilities
  • Greets guests and initiates friendly interaction; provides excellent service, answers questions, and gives park information.
  • Ensures Dollywood’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee policy is implemented during all interactions.
  • Performs the role of Host Transit Driver, which includes:
    • Transports hosts via shuttle/van safely and efficiently.
    • Observes surroundings and other conveyances for potential safety hazards.
    • Observes host actions to prevent safety hazards.
    • Cleans and organizes conveyance daily to maintain a professional appearance.
    • Communicates calmly, clearly, and positively with hosts aboard.
    • Communicates safety rules and scripted park information consistently with Dollywood values.
    • Maintains urgency to reduce host wait times.
  • Completes daily written reports and submits paperwork to Transit PIC.
  • Operates vehicles/work in all weather conditions.
  • Uses time productively for sweeping, clearing cobwebs, straightening cones, etc.
  • Assists with other parking areas as needed/requested by management.
  • Wears and maintains a themed costume issued by Dollywood.
  • Performs special projects as directed by management.
  • Attends all required training classes and meetings.
  • Complies with safety and security directives to ensure host/guest safety.
  • React calmly and quickly in stressful/emergency situations; physically assists guests as required.
  • Observes guest actions to prevent safety hazards.
  • Initiates friendly interaction with guests.
  • Works varying hours and areas when needed.
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times.
  • Follows all safety standards and reports violations.
Education & Experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with proof of auto liability insurance.
  • May be required to provide a copy of personal driving record from home state.
  • No more than three traffic violations in the last three years.
  • No DUI conviction in the past 15 years.
  • Pass post‑offer physical that complies with DOT requirements.
  • Successfully complete background check including motor vehicle and pre‑employment drug screen.
