Much like the land that surrounds it, The Spa at Southall is restorative and replenishing, a journey unto itself rooted in the healing properties of the earth. It’s a nourishing, calming experience, with a host of ancient techniques and modern therapies that draw upon the botanicals and other natural ingredients inspired by, and derived from, our farm. The spa features eight individual treatment rooms, two suites, and indulgent amenities that include a steam room, sauna, and relaxation lounge—as well as an outdoor mineral pool overlooking Lake Mishkin and a medicinal herb garden, offering respite and adding to the deep sense of connection.

Healthy options, such as salads, smoothies, and fresh juices, are also available and can be enjoyed post-treatment beside Luca’s Garden, surrounded by fragrant herbs and blooms.

The Spa at Southall Cosmetologist will perform Blowouts, Bridal Hair updos, Cuts, Color, and occasional Nail services performing luxe experiences in accordance with standards training provided by Southall. This is a non-exempt, hourly plus commission position on our team.

• Consulting with clients on stylistic options for their hair.
• Listening to clients' needs to determine their preferences.
• Describing different hair care products and their benefits.
• Shampooing, cutting, coloring, and highlighting hair.
• Offering manicure, pedicure, waxing, and facial services.
• Performing scalp treatments.
• Acting as salespersons to sell clients hair care retail products.
• Adhering to salon safety and cleanliness standards.
• Keeping updated on hairstyle trends and styling methods.

• Active Tennessee Cosmetology Licensing.
• Previous experience as a hair stylist or colorist.
• Proficiency with hot irons, curlers, and blow-dryers.
• Proficiency with Bridal Updos
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina.
• Creative mindset and a good eye for design.
