Days (6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.)

Compensation:
Base pay plus a $10,000 commitment incentive bonus

• Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer.
• Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Evaluates respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
• Responds to codes and emergent calls; participates as a member of the core team and rapid response team, establishing natural and artificial airways including oral endotracheal intubations or other respiratory-related issues.

• Certified Respiratory Care Therapist.
• Valid and current Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required within one month of hire; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within six months; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within six months.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
