Surgical Technologists prepare for and participate in surgical operations, with high national demand and strong job security. Employers are currently paying premium wages and sign-on incentives; the average annual salary for a CST is $55,960.
At TCAT-Hohenwald, we prepare and arrange for pre-graduates to sit for a national board exam to earn their credential as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) before graduation so that they are ready to enter the workforce and start earning compensation immediately. The majority of TCAT-Hohenwald Surgical Technology students secure job placement before graduation. For 20 years, TCAT-Hohenwald has offered this program as a pathway for adults to begin a rewarding Career in a Year.

Admission Requirements:
Official high school transcript/equivalent, passing HESI entrance exam score, and completed college and program applications. Entrance into the program is based on the highest HESI scores. You may re-take this exam multiple times to secure the highest score possible.
