PM Room Inspector – Dollywood's Heart Song Lodge & Resort – Full Time Year Round
At Dollywood Parks & Resorts, we create memories worth repeating. We do this every day at Dollywood Resorts, which include over 600 rooms and 15 Food & Beverage outlets, all located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Our future plans include growing our resort footprint to over 1200 rooms across five resorts at Dollywood.
We are seeking a PM Room Inspector who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while caring deeply about our brand. The role requires proficiency in inspecting rooms and public spaces, ensuring quality and safety standards, and supporting housekeeping operations.
Summary ofEssential Functions and Responsibilities
- Inspects overall cleanliness, appearance, and condition of rooms after housekeeping cleaning to ensure quality standards are met; identifies and resolves quality problems.
- Inspects all electronics in rooms (TVs, remotes, alarm clocks, telephones) to ensure they are in working order; immediately reports problems to maintenance.
- Checks all entry locks on rooms to ensure proper working order.
- Manages completion of the annual deep clean process for rooms, ensuring all work is finished and products are ready.
- Inspects cleanliness of public spaces and maintains quality standards; identifies and resolves quality problems.
- Analyzes data, evaluates systems, products, and technology, and establishes quality control procedures.
- Ensures proper maintenance is provided to extend useful life of assets and equipment reliability.
- Assists housekeeping management in supervising staff and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Assists management in evaluating, coaching, disciplining, motivating, and training hosts; performs special projects as needed.
- Ensures all work is completed safely and complies with the Company safety program and applicable laws and industry standards.
- Follows company policies to handle safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; completes safety training and certifications.
- Conducts departmental and on‑the‑job training of housekeeping staff.
- Evaluates cleaning supplies; investigates product quality problems and recommends changes or improvements.
- Monitors supplies, keeps inventory, and notifies management when orders are needed.
- Completes required Leadership Training and Leadership Classes.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have at least 1 year’s experience as a room inspector in hotel/hospitality.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
- Must have a work history that demonstrates supervisory skills, including verbal and written communication, leadership, planning, and organizing.
- Must have basic computer knowledge and usage (preferred).
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

- Lift minimum of 20 lb.
- Operate power machines to clean, wash, shampoo carpet.
- Proper use of small hand tools/equipment and cleaning solutions.
