Job DetailsWe want a Parking Ambassador who will exemplify our culture, provide meaningful experiences for guests, and ensure the success and profitability of our offerings.
Responsibilities- Greets guests, initiates friendly interaction, providing guest excellence exceeding expectations.
- Uses empowerment to implement 100% Satisfaction Guarantee policy.
- React calmly and quickly in stressful/emergency situations.
- Physically assists guests throughout the area as required.
- Acts as Parking Facilitator:
- Observes areas to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
- Maintains attention to detail, ensuring areas are clear of debris and professional appearance.
- Assists in placement of cones, barricades, and signage as directed.
- Directs traffic into designated parking lots using clear hand signals per SOPs.
- Completes daily written reports and any necessary paperwork.
- Maintains sense of urgency to reduce guest wait time.
- Assists with other parking areas as needed.
- Wears and maintains themed costume issued by Dollywood.
- Operates vehicles/work each position in all weather conditions.
- Performs special projects as directed.
- Attends required training classes and meetings.
- Complies with safety and security directives and policies.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Follows all safety standards and reports any violations.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Basic computer skills.
- May need to provide copy of personal driving record from home state.
- Must have less than three traffic violations in last three years.
- Must not have DUI conviction in past 15 years.
- Must pass post-offer vision test if position involves driving guests or hosts.
- Must successfully complete background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen.
- Proj. Dollywood's image by being friendly, caring, and taking pride in work.
- Self‑motivated and disciplined.
- Prioritizes and completes assignments timely.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and judgment.

- Able to push/pull, bend at waist and knees, tolerate detergents & chemicals.
- Tolerates various climate and temperature conditions.
- Comprehends instructions and retains information.
- Learn additional ticketing system functions.
- Maintain dependable attendance and flexibility with schedule, including overtime, evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Give two weeks’ notice for requested days off and obtain approval.
- Handle stress from job responsibilities.
- Operate fire extinguisher.
- Lifts 50 lbs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance.
- Above average attention to detail and accuracy.
- Minimum of 18 years of age required for:
- Ride operators at high thrill attractions per IAAPA.
- Any activity with motor vehicle use including trams and shuttles.
- Driving rail‑operated vehicles.
- Work on or ascend lift hills in training, normal operations, or evacuations.
