3-year dual study programme in Computer Science - Information Technology starting on 01.09.2026 at our Waldkirch site in cooperation with Karlsruhe Cooperative State University.
What You Can Expect- Diverse insights and collaboration in various departments, including Information Technology and Research & Development
- Field of activity in the design and implementation of customised software solutions
- Assignments related to the professional software development of client and server applications
- Activities include working on the development of complex software systems, managing and setting up networks and network infrastructure, designing and administering databases, carrying out implementations of modern software test procedures.
- The tools used include database systems, programming languages such as Java or Python and the creation of graphical user interfaces and web-based applications
- Course content includes software engineering, databases and data structures, business administration, maths and scientific work
- In-depth course content:
Project management, web engineering, network and communication technology, databases, practical computer science, consulting, knowledge-based and interactive systems - Study specialisations:
Artificial intelligence, IT security, Industry 4.0 / Internet of Things
- A-levels, specialised university entrance qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification (plus passed Delta exam at the DHBW) or comparable training
- Strong interest in developing apps and software applications
- Initial programming experience is an advantage
- Good performance in technical subjects such as computer science, maths and English
- Logical thinking and interest in complex topics
- Enthusiasm for innovation and interest in the technologies in our company
- Analytical and precise way of working
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to take on responsibility
- Good command of English
- Good knowledge of German (language level C1), see admission requirements of the dual university
