We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and presales efforts for our Pigment‑focused solutions.
Position SummaryAs a Solution Architect specializing in Pigment, you will play a pivotal role in managing, designing, and overseeing the successful implementation of Pigment’s planning software for our clients. You will also contribute to presales activities, including system demonstrations and proposal development. This role demands a strong combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to work independently to deliver high‑value solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Project Scoping and Discovery
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements, challenges, and objectives.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client goals.
- Solution Design
- Architect scalable and efficient solutions using Pigment’s planning software.
- Develop system design documentation, including data models, process flows, and integration specifications.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with industry best practices and client‑specific needs.
- Implementation Oversight
- Provide technical and functional guidance to implementation teams.
- Oversee project delivery to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular reviews of solution performance and address any issues proactively.
- Presales and Demonstrations
- Partner with sales teams to deliver compelling demonstrations of Pigment’s capabilities tailored to client needs.
- Develop technical proposals and contribute to RFP responses.
- Articulate the value of Pigment’s solutions in addressing business challenges.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Provide ongoing support and recommendations for system enhancements and optimizations.
- Education and Best Practices
- Assist in defining best practice processes and designs for Pigment. Document and present this material both internally and externally.
- Create internal education materials to enable other consultants to become experts on the Pigment solution.
- Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience implementing Pigment planning software in diverse business environments, as well as 2+ years experience in other planning technologies. - Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Pigment’s platform, including data modelling, workflow design, and integration with other systems. - Business Acumen:
Strong understanding of financial planning, demand planning, and other xP&A processes. - Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. - Independence:
Self‑motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
