Security Awareness Trainer

Our client is seeking an engaging Security Awareness Trainer to join their team in East London . This role is pivotal in educating employees about cybersecurity threats and best practices, fostering a strong security culture throughout the organization. You will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs, creating educational materials, and tracking employee engagement and comprehension. The ideal candidate is passionate about cybersecurity education and skilled at communicating complex topics in an accessible and effective manner.

• Develop, design, and deliver comprehensive security awareness training programs for all employees.
• Create engaging and informative training materials, including presentations, workshops, videos, and online modules.
• Conduct regular phishing simulations and other exercises to test employee awareness and response.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of training programs, employee engagement, and compliance rates.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, social engineering tactics, and awareness best practices.
• Collaborate with the IT and Information Security teams to align training content with current security policies and risks.
• Promote a positive and proactive security culture within the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Information Security, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in cybersecurity awareness.
• Strong knowledge of common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate technical security concepts into easily understandable language for a non-technical audience.
• Experience with e-learning platforms and multimedia content creation tools is a plus.
