Insurance Investigator

Our client is seeking a sharp and resourceful Insurance Investigator to join their fraud detection and prevention unit in East London . Your primary responsibility will be to investigate suspicious insurance claims, identify potential fraud, and gather evidence to support claims denial or recovery efforts. This role requires strong investigative skills, a keen eye for detail, and an understanding of common insurance fraud schemes.

You will play a vital role in protecting the company from financial losses and maintaining the integrity of its operations.

• Conduct thorough investigations into potentially fraudulent insurance claims across various policy types.
• Gather and analyze evidence, including reviewing documents, interviewing claimants and witnesses, and conducting surveillance where necessary.
• Identify discrepancies and red flags indicative of fraudulent activity.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports summarizing findings and providing recommendations for action.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies, legal counsel, and other stakeholders in fraud cases.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Previous experience as an Insurance Investigator , detective, or in a similar investigative role.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies and common fraud indicators.
• Excellent interviewing, surveillance, and evidence-gathering skills.
• Proficiency in using investigative tools and techniques.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and analytical ability.
