Location:

Linden, TN. This opening is part of our ongoing efforts to lead a customer-centric tax office and deliver strong growth through exceptional client service.

• Provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office.
• Serve as the front-line manager to develop tax office associates, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products for associates; train and coach staff to meet Service Standards and prioritize quality and deadlines.
• Lead daily team meetings, create associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Recruiting and interviewing for tax office positions in collaboration with the District General Manager; participate in local partnerships and community involvement.
• Prepare tax returns as required and manage escalated client service concerns when they arise.

• Prior experience in a customer service, shift-leading, or similar role; experience supervising or managing people.
• 2+ years as a Tax Professional (or equivalent), with ability to meet IRS/state requirements and complete continuing education.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, resilience, and a customer-centric mindset; flexible work schedule based on business needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent (or higher).
