Rate: starting at $20.36/hr

Shift: Swing
-1st and 2nd shift) and 3rd shift

** MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME IF NEEDED**

While reporting to the Supervisor,as the Production Workerfor our swing (1st and 2nd shift) and 3rd shift,youwill be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. Safety, quality, productivity,andstrongwork ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing
• Packs product into boxes retrieves product from equipment and operates machinery
• Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured products
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to set up new production jobs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• · Assists other departments as needed

This position is located at our tubes and cores manufacturing facility in Newport, TN.
