Safety Coordinator

G&T Industries, a 100 % employee‑owned upholstery company, is seeking a proactive, people‑focused Safety Coordinator in Middle Tennessee to strengthen its workplace safety culture and support its manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety audits and inspections.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and documentation requirements.
• Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions.
• Maintain incident‑tracking software and safety management systems.
• Partner with leadership to promote a culture of safety across the organization.
• Travel occasionally for training or meetings, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Degree in occupational safety, industrial management, or related field, OR 1–2 years of relevant safety experience and/or training.
• Preferred:
  Experience with safety management systems, incident‑tracking software, and Microsoft Office.
• Preferred:
  Leadership experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills.
