The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Machine Operator/Trainer for a prominent client.

Location:

Springfield, TN.

Pay rate: $20/hr W2 (without benefits)

Job Title: Machine Operator/Trainer
Location: Springfield, TN
Duration: 3 months Temp to Perm

Shift: 2nd – Monday – Thursday, 4:45PM – 3:15AM (4 x 10s)

Candidate needs to have experience working in manufacturing and the ability to train people on machines. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Machine Operator/Trainer to assist with production operations and train team members on the safe and efficient use of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining production machinery, with a focus on ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

You will lead by example, ensuring best practices are followed while mentoring and training operators to develop their skills.

• Machine Operation & Maintenance:
  Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot a variety of production equipment, ensuring it runs efficiently and safely.
• Perform regular maintenance and quality checks to avoid downtime and ensure machine longevity.
• Adjust machine settings to meet production specifications.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to repair or troubleshoot any technical issues.

• Team Leadership:
  Serve as the go-to expert for machine operation and production processes.
• Provide direction and support to machine operators, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor production performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.

• Training & Development:
  Train and mentor new and existing machine operators, ensuring they understand proper machine operation, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Develop training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment operation.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to operators to help improve skills and performance.

• Safety & Compliance:
  Ensure all team members follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct regular safety checks and audits to minimize risks and hazards in the workplace.
• Keep up to date with industry safety standards and implement best practices within the team.

• Experience working in manufacturing and the ability to train people on machines.
• Strong background in operating and maintaining production machinery with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
