Pay rate: $20/hr W2 (without benefits)
Job Title: Machine Operator/Trainer

Duration: 3 months Temp to Perm
Shift: 2nd – Monday – Thursday, 4:45PM – 3:15AM (4 x 10s)
Job DescriptionCandidate needs to have experience working in manufacturing and the ability to train people on machines. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Machine Operator/Trainer to assist with production operations and train team members on the safe and efficient use of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining production machinery, with a focus on ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
You will lead by example, ensuring best practices are followed while mentoring and training operators to develop their skills.
- Machine Operation & Maintenance:
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot a variety of production equipment, ensuring it runs efficiently and safely. - Perform regular maintenance and quality checks to avoid downtime and ensure machine longevity.
- Adjust machine settings to meet production specifications.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to repair or troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Team Leadership:
Serve as the go-to expert for machine operation and production processes. - Provide direction and support to machine operators, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Monitor production performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Training & Development:
Train and mentor new and existing machine operators, ensuring they understand proper machine operation, safety protocols, and quality standards. - Develop training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment operation.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to operators to help improve skills and performance.
- Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all team members follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). - Conduct regular safety checks and audits to minimize risks and hazards in the workplace.
- Keep up to date with industry safety standards and implement best practices within the team.
- Experience working in manufacturing and the ability to train people on machines.
- Strong background in operating and maintaining production machinery with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
