Production Associate

Bunzl Safety is seeking a production worker for our facility in Piperton, TN. The Production Worker will assemble boxes or make alterations to various product. The Production Associate is responsible for learning proper procedures and product information required to perform the job in a manner consistent with company objectives. The Production Associate assures the quality and quantity of the product produced.

Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:40pm

• Perform labeling, bagging, boxing and prepare finished goods for shipping of the Value Added Services (VAS) department.
• Ensure all products produced in the VAS department are defect‑free and comply with QC procedures.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Operate all materials handling equipment efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area while promoting safety and complying with OSHA standards.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a production environment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Basic math skills.
• Legible reading and writing.
• Able to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Capability to follow directions.
