Position
:
Maintenance Technician (Full-time)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faulty machinery
  • Install new production equipment
  • Create and implement maintenance standard operating procedures based on specific machine knowledge
  • Perform mechanical repairs and remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools
  • Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools
  • Work with 2D and 3D computer-aided design and manufacturing software such as CAD or CAM
  • Repair methods, including welding, inserting, or replacing items, will need to be made with consideration to quality, cost, and delivery
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories
  • Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Complete required documentation, manually or by data entry
  • Organize safe maintenance principles for regulating and scheduling breakdowns
  • Equipment/asset care and Planned Preventive Maintenance processes and procedures
  • Prioritize and complete daily work orders
  • Participate in 5S, Quality, Safety, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing activities
  • Comply with Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards, procedures, and instructions
  • Maintain and improve high product quality by setting/managing proper welding conditions
  • Other duties and projects may be assigned based on the operational objectives of the company

Qualifications
:
Ideal candidate should have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years of maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing/production environment; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
