Warehouse Supervisor 2nd Shift

Overview

The Pictsweet Company is growing! A 4th generation family owned company established in 1945, Pictsweet is a frozen vegetable producer with agricultural roots. We are recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor (2nd Shift) at Pictsweet's flagship manufacturing facility in Bells, TN. The Supervisor will be responsible for the management of the department during an assigned shift. This role will coordinate departmental activities with other managers and supervisors.

• Monitors and evaluates performance of hourly employees.
• Plans and coordinates work assignments and equipment allocations in order to meet operation needs.
• Directs workers in moving, storing, and loading/unloading of product.
• Ensures the integrity of food safety and quality throughout all phases of warehouse management and distribution, which includes compliance with the Trailer Seal Policy, SOPs, DOT regulations, and all other policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Enforces company rules, such as attendance, food safety, production quality, safety, GMPs, and efficiency.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulations relating to food safety and personnel safety such as FDA, USDA, OSHA, and TOSHA.
• Ensures employees ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials.
• Trains employees and explains and demonstrates work tasks to new workers.
• Monitors the unloading, storage, and loading of all shipments.
• Ensures compliance with HACPP and USDA regulations when receiving and shipping. This includes completion of required forms and required temperature checks.
• Oversees time and temperature checks on product in warehouse.
• Responsible for ensuring and monitoring all quality and food safety systems in place for the storage of quality products manufactured under clean, safe, and wholesome conditions.
• Assist in both internal and external food safety and inventory audits.
• Conducts food safety and personnel safety training on night shift.
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree or five to ten years' experience as a supervisor in a warehouse or food environment.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) helpful but not required
• Must reside within 15 miles of Bells, TN or be willing to relocate
