Georgia-Pacific Gypsum is seeking motivated and safety-oriented individuals to join our team as Production Operators at our Cumberland City, TN facility.
Production Operators work in a fast-paced industrial environment that is transforming with technological advancements that make the work environment safer and more efficient. This role will perform various functions within the production department that may include operating controls, performing quality control checks and supporting the production team during a twelve-hour rotating shift. Shift- 12‑hour rotating shift: days and nights, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed following DuPont schedule.
- Compensation: $21/hour.

- Ensure machines are set up properly and perform optimally.
- Troubleshoot and adjust machines as needed.
- Contribute to the site’s safety record by working safely.
- Perform basic asset care duties and routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals.
- Keep work area clean and orderly during your shift.
- Perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs.), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for at least twelve hours a day in a hot, humid, cold, or noisy industrial environment.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
- Be willing to work any shift; rotating 12-hour shifts in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment.
- Previous experience in production, warehouse, industrial, construction, manufacturing or military environment.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Experience using a computer for record‑keeping and documentation functions in an industrial environment.
- Experience identifying, analyzing and troubleshooting quality issues.
- Experience troubleshooting equipment.
