common hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, grease guns, and pipe wrenchesinspect equipment and monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges to prevent equipment downtime or process upsetsmaintain clean work area(s), hand and power tools, equipment, and facilitiesperform routine minimum control tests assist with facility maintenanceperform general housekeeping and cleaning of all related facilities maintain working relationship with all employeescommunicate all pertinent data and information relative to daily operations in operator logbooks and at shift changeperform other duties as required perform required tasks in a timely mannerqualificationshigh school diploma or general education degree (ged) preferred;

or six months related experience and/or a combination of education and experience required skills and competenciesmechanical knowledge of equipment and tools including their use, service requirements, repair procedures, and maintenanceknowledge of h2s safety knowledge of basic math and applicationsability to exercise good judgement and apply common sense to carry out written and oral instructionsattention to detailbasic communication skillsability to assist and support othersability to operate basic office equipment (computers, copiers, printers, etc.)must
