• Supports safety initiatives and development of organizational safety culture through safe process design.
• Supports product quality improvements by recognizing & documenting manufacturing defects and supports elimination of defects through process design improvements.
• Defines and implements factory automation and advanced manufacturing initiatives to support factory productivity improvements.
• Define and implement effective fabrication equipment programming strategy to support single piece flow and material utilization initiatives.

  Dmodeling capability to lead jig, tool and fixture development initiatives.
• Define and implement efficient material and inventory control strategies to support just in time delivery strategies to support downstream customers.
• Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes to reduce waste and optimize labor cost performance. Deploys effective labor analysis and line balance tools.
• Review and calculate labor, material and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision making.
• Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer's procedures and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational.
