About Farm & Forge Club
The Farm & Forge Club is a brand‑new sports complex located in College Grove, TN, south of Nashville. The 65,000‑square‑foot main building opened in November 2025 and will soon host six indoor tennis courts and a full‑size football field, 18 outdoor hard courts, and six outdoor clay courts. Two additional buildings are under construction and will open mid‑2026: one for Human Performance (strength, conditioning, recovery, and physical therapy) and one for Youth Academy and School programs.
KeyAspects of Operation
- Youth academy: high‑performance model for youth in a sport while attending on‑site school and receiving strength & conditioning training.
- Youth activities: after‑school programs, summer camps, etc.
- Adult memberships: access to state‑of‑the‑art facilities, coaching, and training.
- On‑site events: tournaments, court & field rentals, and community activities.
We’re hiring a Senior Marketing Manager who will be our first in‑house marketing lead. Someone who blends creativity with strategy, sets the tone for our brand voice, and builds a marketing engine that brings new families and members into the club. The role is ideal for a marketer who loves being both the architect and the builder, can build systems from the ground up, and is comfortable translating high‑level strategy into day‑to‑day execution.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Own the marketing strategy for Farm and Forge across youth tennis, adult memberships, performance programs, coaching, and new sports as we launch them.
- Centralize and guide internal stakeholder perspectives to ensure our brand identity and voice are clear, consistent, and instantly recognizable.
- Lead implementation of our established brand system across all channels, programs, and touchpoints.
- Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans tied directly to membership growth and lead generation.
- Lead and mentor a full‑time content creator, guiding content strategy, storytelling, and brand consistency.
- Build and manage email marketing including newsletters, nurture sequences, member journeys, and announcements.
- Define paid media goals and oversee execution, including Meta ads, Google Ads, and retargeting.
- Develop and manage social media strategy with strong storytelling, clear themes, and intentional cadence.
- Create digital and print assets like membership guides, schedules, flyers, signage, pitch decks, and more.
- Select and collaborate with PR partners on press releases, gaining earned media coverage within set guidelines, and serving as internal point of contact.
- Own the marketing strategy for the Farm and Forge podcast including episode themes, guest planning, and repurposing clips.
- Oversee website updates and redesign in partnership with external vendors.
- Manage relationships with outside vendors including designers, developers, printers, ad partners, photographers, and videographers.
- Partner with leadership on sponsorship strategy and support sponsorship materials, pitches, and activation plans.
- Track and analyze marketing metrics, create simple dashboards, and identify high‑ROI opportunities.
- Build local relationships with community organizations, schools, and nonprofits to support outreach and membership goals.
- Support the design and implementation of a consistent customer journey for new members from awareness to onboarding.
- Work closely with the leadership team including the GM and Office of the President to support program launches and club initiatives.
- Establish and manage the annual marketing budget and guide leadership on where best to invest.
- 5+ years of marketing experience with a blend of strategy and hands‑on execution.
- A scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit: organized, curious, resourceful, and excited about building things from the ground up.
- Ability to work on‑site in College Grove, TN. Flexible to limited travel for events or tournaments.
- Experience building or owning a brand (even better if you’ve done it in a fast‑growing org).
- A collaborative, high‑energy mindset; comfortable working on‑site and embedded in the action.
- Strong digital skills: email marketing, paid ads, social campaigns, segmentation, analytics.
- Strong writing and verbal skills with the ability to craft clear, fun, and engaging messaging.
- Experience creating or overseeing asset design, with working knowledge of design tools.
- Experience managing or mentoring internal and external creative talent.
