Position Summary:
Circle of Life Clinic is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our healthcare team in a part-time, outpatient-only capacity. The CNM will provide comprehensive care to women throughout the prenatal, postpartum periods, and gynecological services. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive and patient-centered environment dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care. No on-call duties are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide full-scope midwifery care in an outpatient setting, including prenatal visits, postpartum care, and family planning counseling.

• Conduct routine gynecological exams, including PAP smears, breast exams, and contraceptive counseling.

• Provide health education and counseling for women across the lifespan.

• Document patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately in the clinic's electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Maintain certification and licensure, staying current with advances in midwifery and healthcare practices.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Nurse Midwife (CNM) from an accredited program.

• Active and valid Tennessee state licensure as a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife.

• Previous experience in a clinical midwifery role preferred but not required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

• Commitment to providing culturally competent, patient-centered care.

Schedule:
Part-time, with flexibility to accommodate clinic hours. Exact scheduling to be discussed during the interview process.
