License Practical Nurse (LPN) – Nights – Weekends

Full-time (36 hours) – Mountain City, TN

Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking an LPN to join our team and provide care for adolescent psychiatric patients in a residential treatment setting.

• Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Medication administration, including psychotropic medications, and monitoring for side effects.
• Vital signs monitoring and documentation of patient health and behavior.
• Assist with daily living activities and support therapeutic milieu.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care and a supportive environment.

• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Vocational/Technical School graduate
• Valid licensed LPN (or license eligible) in the State of Tennessee
• Current BLS certification (upon hire and kept current)
• Preferred experience with children/adolescents
• Preferred experience in a psychiatric residential setting
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Successful background check, fingerprinting and employment verification
