• Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment
• Location: Powell, Tennessee 37849 (Knoxville area)
• Healthcare Setting: Critical Illness and Rehabilitation Hospital
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week, 36 hours/week)
• Open Positions: 3 Registered Nurse openings
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1650-$1770/week

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Tennessee or compact state)
• BLS Certification (required before first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required before first shift)
• Minimum 1 year of recent bedside clinical experience (2 years preferred)
• Experience in Med/Surg, acute care, or rehabilitation nursing jobs preferred

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg hospital setting
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, social, and functional needs
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, including nursing diagnosis, interventions, and discharge planning
• Supervise and guide LPNs, CNAs, and new staff members
• Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with hospital protocols
• Perform wound care, ventilator management, and respond to clinical emergencies
• Accurately document all patient care, assessments, and interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve patient rehabilitation goals
• Educate and support patients and families, providing referrals to appropriate healthcare resources
• Follow all hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines
