Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Carthage, Tennessee, 37030!

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery / Nursery / Postpartum

Carthage, TN | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

• Provide direct patient care across Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum units within a critical access hospital setting
• Monitor and assess maternity patients and newborns, maintaining a 1:2 patient ratio
• Perform fetal monitoring and support patients through the labor and delivery process
• Rotate every other weekend and fulfill call requirements as scheduled (3 twelve-hour shifts per 4-week schedule)
• Float to other units as needed
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EHR system

• Active RN licensure valid for practice in the state of Tennessee
• Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Demonstrated fetal monitoring skills
• Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date; results required before start
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel placement

• PALS certification
• Experience with Centricity and/or Meditech EHR platforms
• Couplet care experience

• Work in a close-knit critical access hospital environment serving maternity patients and newborns in a scenic Tennessee community located along the Cumberland River, approximately one hour from Nashville
• Gain diverse clinical experience across Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum in a supportive setting
