American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring AWHONN and NRP certification along with fetal monitoring skills.
Requirements- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, and NRP
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Fetal monitoring experience required
- Couplet care experience preferred
- Centricity and Meditech experience preferred but not required
- PALS certification preferred
- Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to start
- Critical access hospital setting covering Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum units
- Unit includes 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds
- Patient population consists of maternity women and newborns
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Uses Meditech EHR
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend rotation, as needed
- Call requirement of 3 twelve-hour shifts per 4-week schedule
- Floating required as needed
- Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum units
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Scrubs of any color accepted, casual attire and other facility apparel not permitted
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Local candidates within 60 miles are eligible at the local rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
