** - Are you ready to take your nursing career to the next level? - As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be an integral part of a dynamic healthcare team, providing comprehensive nursing care to those in need.
- Your role will encompass executing Licensed Independent Provider’s orders, administering medications, and assisting during examinations and treatments.

* Key Responsibilities:
** - Plan and provide exceptional nursing care to inmates/residents.
- Attend sick calls with physicians to assist in patient evaluations and treatments.
- Prepare examining rooms and operate pill call while ensuring accurate documentation.
- Assess and refer new inmates/residents with injuries or illnesses as necessary.
- Perform emergency procedures and communicate effectively with Licensed Independent Providers.
- Oversee and guide the nursing care provided by licensed and non-licensed staff.
- Maintain relationships with facility staff, contract providers, and outside agencies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and correctional policies while using independent judgment.
- Regularly evaluate medical services to prevent inappropriate usage or duplication.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of all medical records.
- Assist in reviewing medical files for documentation completeness.
- Monitor potential catastrophic illnesses closely.
- Audit pharmacy use and adhere to pharmacy laws for controlled substances.
- Observe and record inmate/resident behaviors and inspect the medical unit for security.
- Provide health counseling and education to individuals and groups.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of various reports and logs.
- Read and interpret medical, legal, and governmental documents accurately.
- Collaborate on lawsuits and attend court hearings as necessary.
- Facilitate accreditation of the medical program by providing top-notch medical services.
- Prepare safety and accident reports as required and manage incidents effectively.
