OverviewA Quality Specialist (QS) ensures the quality and reliability of the Company's processes and systems by monitoring adherence to established quality policies and standards. This QS gathers data, monitors and reports metrics, identifies opportunities for improvements, reviews and supports authoring of quality documentation, and manages simple customer quality requests and needs. They also schedule, support, and perform audits and production assessments.
A QS tracks quality issues and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve them. A QS also monitors and maintains the Quality Assurance team's channels of communication, escalating complex issues to appropriate team members.
- Monitor and escalate adherence to established quality standards.
- Monitor and report Quality metrics.
- Manage quality requests, both internal and external.
- Schedule and support audits and surveillances.
- Issue and resolve nonconformances/CAPAs.
- Identify and contribute to the improvements in processes.
- Act as liaison between QA and its internal and external customers.
- Develop collaborative relationship with other departments.
- Maintain records and reports of audits and compliance.
- Mentor Quality Technicians.
- Familiar with common quality ideas
- ISO, Lean, 5S, SPC, Testing methodologies and tools
- Problem Solving
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
1 year experience in Quality Inspector or Technician role.
Associates degree or higher or Quality Technician/Inspector certification.
What We OfferThe salary range for this role is $57,; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
