Vice President of Quality Assurance - Nuclear Fabrication

Container Technologies Industries (CTI) is seeking an accomplished, hands-on Vice President of Quality Assurance to lead and strengthen our quality organization as we expand our presence in the nuclear supply chain.

CTI designs and manufactures specialized nuclear waste packaging systems for government and commercial nuclear customers. We are looking for a leader who combines deep nuclear quality expertise with the ability to develop people, improve processes, and drive operational excellence.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing business, working directly with the President and executive leadership team.

• Lead all aspects of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, supplier quality, and the Quality Management System.
• Own and continuously improve our ASME NQA-1 and ISO 9001 quality programs

• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality organization.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve first-pass quality, reduce rework, and strengthen manufacturing processes.
• Lead audits, corrective actions, root cause investigations, and supplier quality initiatives.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor while ensuring independent quality oversight.
• Serve as a trusted quality leader with customers, regulatory stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Establish meaningful quality metrics and drive measurable improvements.

• 10+ years of progressive quality experience
  , ideally including 5+ years in leadership, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience leading and improving an ASME NQA-1 quality program - essential.
• Experience with ISO 9001, nuclear quality audits, and quality management systems.
• Working knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, machining, inspection, and material traceability.
• Proven ability to develop teams, solve complex quality challenges, and improve organizational performance.
• Experience with electronic QMS and/or ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

ASME NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification, NIAC audit experience, AWS CWI certification, and experience supporting DOE, DOD, or commercial nuclear programs.
