• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including meat, vegetables, and desserts, using standardized recipes and protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
• Conduct inventory management and ordering of food and supplies to ensure optimal stock levels
• Collaborate with the Dietary Manager to plan menus, accommodate special dietary needs, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement creative and appetizing meal plans, incorporating fresh ingredients and seasonal options
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff members
• Maintain accurate records of food production, waste management, and inventory

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
• 0 years of experience in food service or culinary arts; recent graduates welcome to apply
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong understanding of nutrition principles and food safety protocols
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
