• Location: Erwin, Tennessee

• Prepare and serve nutritious, quality meals according to established menus and resident dietary needs.

• Follow recipes, portion control guidelines, and food preparation standards.

• Accommodate special diets, food preferences, and texture modifications as directed.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.

• Monitor food temperatures and quality throughout preparation and service.

• Assist with food inventory, proper storage, and supply rotation.

• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and other departments to ensure timely meal service.

• Help create a positive dining experience for residents.

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, long-term care, food service, or a restaurant setting preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.

• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and special dietary instructions.

• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Serv Safe certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing quality service.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
