Basic Purpose
Truck Care Cashiers help run our business by providing excellent customer service while operating the cash registers, inputting and verifying service orders, stocking merchandise, and performing light housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restroom areas.

• Greet customers politely and assist them
• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect them with the service specialist to identify services needed
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify the accuracy of services performed
• Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized cash drawer
• Collect and close out pending invoices
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
• Answer phones promptly and address customer needs quickly using proper phone etiquette
• Interface with multiple electronic platforms to ensure clear and concise communication
• Stock and face merchandise in the customer area
• Perform customer area & restroom maintenance such as cleaning toilets, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning mirrors and doors, servicing trash cans, and wiping excess oil off counters, doors, and windows
• Perform weekly and monthly projects
• Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards
• Maintain a safe facility and use safety-first practices to remain accident‑free
• Other tasks as assigned

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience:
  
  6 months retail and cash handling experience preferred; trucking industry experience preferred

• Hard
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to learn and operate a cashier register;
  Ability to perform basic housekeeping tasks in the customer area;
  Ability to navigate safely in the service bay
• Soft Skills:
  
  Good verbal and written communication skills, time‑management skills, organization skills, can‑do attitude, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic

• Typical Physical Demands:
• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Requires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
• Occasional light lifting not over 100 lbs
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Work environment: frequent exposure to outdoor elements, fumes, particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, high noise levels, dirt, dust, grease, oil, gas, high‑concentrated cleaning solutions, and human waste
• Travel requirements:
  No travel expected for this position
