Location: Greenbrier, TN.
A Hepaco a Clean Harbors company is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety‑conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean‑up, site‑remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.
Base pay range$14.00/hr - $32.00/hr

- Ensure health and safety by following policies and procedures.
- Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting heavy objects.
- Operate light and heavy equipment, hand tools, and powered industrial tools.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, face, hand and foot protection.
- Work in various temperatures, indoor and outdoor, all weather conditions.
- Operate in atmospheres potentially exposed to hazardous, toxic, or corrosive agents.
- Work in confined spaces, elevated noise levels, and low‑clearance areas.
- Operate ladders, scaffolding, and containers such as trucks and tanks.
- Work extended hours (over 8 hrs) and attend compliance safety meetings.
- Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Load and unload hazardous and non‑hazardous waste safely.
- Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling as needed.
- Follow all local, state, provincial and federal compliance regulations.
- Operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other regulations.
- Observe corporate operating guidelines and environmental health and safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physical functions as described.
- Available for on‑call emergency response, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts up to 24 hrs.
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical exam.
- Meet OSHA respirator facial‑hair standards if required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Previous relevant labor experience.
