Electrician

Overview

Position: Electrician Reports to: Project Manager, Electrical

We are looking for an Electrician to join our team in Rossville. Our Electrician will primarily be responsible for electrical installations of industrial equipment and automation systems.

You will be a great fit if you are a friendly and hardworking team player who is eager to take on new challenges. This role is physically challenging as you will be working in a fast-paced environment that involves repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, lifting, and standing for extended periods. However, this allows you to work in a friendly and supportive environment where your work has a direct and positive impact on how we create delicious, plant-based products.

Skills & experience

• You have related experience in a similar role
• You have excellent mathematical skills
• You have great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• You are familiar with mechanical systems and can complete mechanical tasks when necessary

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals as required for tasks
• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic equipment and other related devices
• Assist in design of automation control cabinets (PLCs etc.), purchase components, build and commission
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
• Install, repair, and test switch gear, transformers, and load reactors and more
