Teach Physical Education 10-12 at Hazelton Secondary School in Hazelton, British Columbia, supporting learners through strong classroom management. This temporary position is part-time at .572 FTE.
Coast Mountains School District 82 seeks a teacher for Physical Education 10-12, Support Block, and other assignments. The work involves students across grade levels, revised BC Curriculum standards, curricular competencies, and core competencies. You will help develop individualized learning plans for academic, social, and emotional learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach Physical Education 10-12 and Support Block assignments
- Teach students across all grade levels
- Develop individualized learning plans with school teams
- Implement plans addressing academic, social, and emotional difficulties
- Apply strong classroom management skills
- Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate or eligibility
- Working knowledge of revised BC Curriculum requirements
- Ability to relate well with students, parents, and staff
- Commitment to school and district enhanced learning strategies
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
