Coast Mountains School District 82 seeks a teacher for Chemistry 11-12, Biology 12, Life Science 11, Forensics 12, and other teaching. The assignment runs immediately through June 30, 2027, or the incumbent’s return. You will work within the revised British Columbia Curriculum and support individualized learning plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Chemistry 11-12 and Biology 12 courses
Teach Life Science 11 and Forensics 12
Develop individualized learning plans with school teams
Implement academic, social, and emotional learning supports
Follow school and district enhanced learning strategies
Requirements:
Hold or qualify for a valid BC teaching certificate
Experience teaching students at all grade levels
Understand revised BC Curriculum learning standards
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
Relate well with students, parents, and staff
Bring science teaching, curriculum knowledge, and inclusive classroom leadership to learners at Coast Mountains School District 82.
