This critical role within WSP's Energy, Resources & Industry sector involves the design of material handling systems and provides mentorship to other engineers. Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, translating operational needs into effective engineering solutions, while engaging directly with clients to address complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design systems including conveyors and automated solutions
• Collaborate to integrate materials handling in designs
• Provide technical direction and support on projects
• Evaluate existing systems for improvements
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 15+ years in material handling system design
• Proven experience with heavy industrial projects
• Professional Engineer designation eligibility in Canada
• Proficient with mechanical design and modeling tools
