Norda Stelo is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Terrace, BC. This role emphasizes working closely with clients on industrial project support and site investigations.
As part of our team, you will reinforce our local presence while providing essential technical expertise during project phases. Your responsibilities will include site visits, engineering assessments, and the development of practical solutions for clients. Collaborate with a dedicated Vancouver-based engineering team and enhance your skills in project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute site visits and conduct structure assessments
• Propose practical engineering solutions for clients
• Facilitate communication among teams and clients
• Assess existing structures for upgrades and repairs
• Prepare engineering documents and reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• BC Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.)
• Minimum of 6 years structural engineering experience
• Background in heavy industrial projects preferred
• Familiarity with Canadian codes and strong inspection skills
