McElhanney is hiring a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to enhance geotechnical services in Northwest BC. Leverage your expertise and relationships to lead vital projects in civil infrastructure.

In this key role, you will provide geotechnical solutions for various civil infrastructure projects while drawing upon over 15 years of relevant experience. Your responsibilities will include managing geotechnical investigations, developing fee proposals, and overseeing project budgets and schedules. You will also play a crucial part in client management and business development, while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver geotechnical solutions for civil infrastructure projects

• Lead investigations and document findings in detail

• Prepare fee estimates and proposals for assignments

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships

• Mentor junior staff and expand technical expertise

Requirements:

• University degree in Geotechnical/Geological Engineering

• 15+ years of progressive geotechnical experience

• P.Eng. registration in British Columbia (or eligible)

• Strong communication and project management skills

• Business development capabilities and experience with geochemical assessments
