This role follows BCCNM professional standards and ethics while supporting patient and family-centered care. Practice occurs across clinical settings in an acute medical unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients in an acute medical unit
- Plan nursing care according to patient needs
- Provide direct compassionate patient care
- Evaluate nursing care and patient responses
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Practice according to BCCNM professional standards
- Follow the BCCNM code of ethics
- Support patient and family-centered care
- Availability for rotating days and nights
