Deliver compassionate perinatal nursing care at Bulkley Valley District Hospital through specialized obstetrical assessment and patient support. Rotating day and night shifts apply.
As a Registered Nurse - Perinatal, you provide direct care within Northern Health’s patient and family centered care model. You work under a Manager or designate and follow BCCNM professional standards and ethics. Collaboration with the inter-professional team supports care for obstetrical patients throughout intra, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum periods, alongside other assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess obstetrical and other assigned patients
- Plan individualized nursing care
- Provide direct perinatal patient care
- Evaluate nursing care outcomes
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team
- Registered Nurse qualification
