As a Registered Nurse, you will practice under a manager’s supervision within Northern Health’s mission, values, and priorities. Working collaboratively with the inter-professional team, you will provide patient and family centered care. Your practice follows BCCNM professional standards and code of ethics while applying nursing science and related knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess obstetrical patients during intra, postpartum, and antepartum periods
- Plan direct nursing care for high-risk antepartum patients
- Provide direct care to obstetrical and assigned patients
- Evaluate nursing care and patient responses
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Practice aligned with BCCNM standards and code of ethics
- Specialized perinatal nursing knowledge
- Knowledge grounded in nursing science and related sciences
- Availability for rotating days and nights
