Position: Educational Counselor Role at CSF
Take on the role of Educational Counselor with the Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique, focusing on socio-emotional development. This part-time position allows you to shape nurturing educational backgrounds for students.
In this permanent role, you will be instrumental in delivering support for emotional well-being through targeted counseling programs. Collaborating with the school team, you will implement comprehensive strategies that directly address student needs in mental health. Your work will create a safe, welcoming environment for diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support socio-emotional learning and classroom guidance

• Provide individual counseling and small group interventions

• Collaborate on individualized education plans for students

• Manage student crises effectively in cooperation with school staff

• Maintain communication with parents and external specialists
Requirements:

• Master’s degree in school counseling or related area

• TRB teaching certificate or eligibility thereof

• Expertise in socio-emotional development interventions

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
