Coast Mountain College (CMTN) is looking for a dedicated Carpentry Instructor to enhance its Carpentry program. In this full-time role, you will prepare and teach courses, support student success through mentorship, and maintain shop safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of journeyperson experience and strong organizational skills to thrive in a collaborative teaching environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging carpentry instruction to students

• Ensure adherence to shop safety practices

• Assist students with feedback and course materials

• Manage administrative documentation and records

• Champion diversity and inclusion in teaching methods

Requirements:

• Interprovincial Red Seal Endorsement required

• Five years of experience in carpentry and supervision

• Proven commitment to educational excellence

• Strong communication with cross-cultural understanding

• Teaching certification or diploma preferred
