‘Na Aksa Gyilak'yoo School seeks a passionate educator for Grades 5, 6, and 7 in Kitsumkalum, BC, focusing on the integration of Tsimshian language and holistic educational practices. This position invites a dedicated teacher to create an engaging learning environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans that adhere to BC Curriculum Standards while fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere. You will also assess student progress in varied ways and collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary learning enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create lesson plans that meet BC Curriculum Standards

• Facilitate a classroom environment encouraging dialogue and respect

• Assist in school events and professional development activities

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility

• Experience in teaching elementary students
