Position: Welding Instructor at Coast Mountain College
Become a part of Coast Mountain College's Welding program as a Welding Instructor. Engage with students through all levels of instruction while fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Coast Mountain College (CMTN) is seeking a term Welding Instructor for its Terrace campus. The role requires an Interprovincial Red Seal Endorsement along with at least five years of field experience in welding and supervisory capacities. You will guide students, prepare courses, and oversee safety protocols while ensuring a successful and enriching educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach various levels in the Welding program

• Prepare and guide students through course content

• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement

• Ensure shop safety and compliance standards

• Maintain accurate records and administrative duties

Requirements:

• Interprovincial Red Seal Endorsement and Grade 12

• Minimum of five years as a Journeyperson

• Supervisory experience of five years

• Provincial Instructor Diploma or relevant certification preferred

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
