Join MGM Power Systems in Terrace, BC, as a Power Generation Technician. This full-time position emphasizes diagnosing and repairing generators to support diverse operations.

We are looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic or equivalent technician to strengthen our team. Your expertise with diesel engines and generators will be crucial in keeping our clients powered while complying with safety standards. You will face challenges in various remote environments, assuring the operational efficiency of our generator fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain generators of all sizes

• Work on-site at mine locations and remote assignments

• Conduct preventative maintenance and load testing

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems

• Keep detailed records compliant with CSA 282 standards

Requirements:

• Certification as a Journeyman Heavy-Duty Mechanic preferred

• Strong background in diesel engine systems

• Experience troubleshooting generators effectively

• Clean Class 5 driver’s license required

• Capacity to operate independently in field conditions
