Position: Part-Time Medical Device Reprocessor - Northern Health
Join Northern Health as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician in a part-time capacity at Ksyen Regional Hospital.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring all medical supplies are properly sanitized and ready for use.

In this vital position, you will handle the decontamination and sterilization processes, and verify instrument integrity through testing. Under the guidance of a manager, you will also undertake various administrative tasks to maintain accurate records and ensure the smooth distribution of medical supplies throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments

• Conduct testing for proper functionality of devices

• Carry out clerical duties and maintain records

• Manage and operate sterilization equipment

• Communicate effectively with team members

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 and a recognized training course

• A minimum of one year’s experience in a related field

• Solid knowledge of medical terminology

• Proficiency in mathematical tasks

• Ability to perform physical duties
