I.T. Cyber Security Analyst

Position: Permanent I.T. Cyber Security Analyst
Join the Superior North Catholic District School Board as a full-time I.T. Cyber Security Analyst. Focus on leading cyber security efforts while ensuring ethical use of AI within the organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for operational cyber security strategies, incident response coordination, and IT risk management. Your work will also support compliance with data privacy obligations and public sector regulations in educational settings. Engage with IT and senior administration to reinforce the district's overall cyber security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of operational cyber security programs

• Manage incident response and risk assessment protocols

• Ensure effectiveness of vendor and application security measures

• Raise awareness around AI governance and compliance

• Collaborate with various teams to enhance digital trust
Requirements:

• Degree in Cyber Security, IT, or Computer Science

• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or relevant equivalent

• Demonstrated cyber security operations experience

• Proven ability to communicate technical issues effectively

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
